Hello dealers.
Welcome to the first Founder Notes journal entry!
I'm Casey, co-founder of MH Upside Technology, based in Bedford, Texas. Around these parts, I am also known as the Mobile Homey, but more about that later.
Either way, I'm glad you visited our new newsletter.
This first note is a welcome letter, a founder story, and a little anniversary celebration all wrapped into one.
This year marks the 10-year anniversary that our boutique web design agency, MH Digital, LLC, was born.
Happy anniversary to us.
Just a big thank you to our loyal clients, a whole lot of lessons learned, and the launch of something we believe can help manufactured home dealers in a big way.
That something is MH Upside Technology, officially launching on 6/6/26.
We Have Been Building This for Almost 20 Years
For most of the past 10 years, our company has been a small boutique web shop with a handful of clients.
Not some giant agency with a glass office, ping-pong table, and a meeting room named Innovation Lab.
It has mostly been me and Sarah, hustling, working late nights, and lots of strategy sessions.
A husband and wife team running websites and marketing for contract clients, working day jobs, raising babies, paying bills, learning the hard way, and living life.
You know, normal small business stuff.
Some seasons were busy. Some were hectic. Some were built around nap schedules, school pickup, client calls, late night codeathons, and plenty of we'll figure it out moments.
And somehow, we did.
Over the years, we have worked on hundreds of websites, marketing campaigns, SEO optimizations, Google and Facebook Ads, lead forms, inventory pages, landing pages, and all the little things that make a website either helpful or painful. We have built dozens of sites using WordPress, page builders, and even hand-coding the OG way.
Over the years, with my many friendships made as Chief Marketing Officer at Legacy Housing, the manufactured housing industry kept pulling us back in.
And after 20 years of working around dealer websites, one thought kept showing up:
There has to be a better way.
A New Season for Our Family Business
Here is the simple truth.
The web has changed, and a small, focused team can now deliver the kind of dealer websites that used to take a big staff.
That opened a new door for us.
Sarah put her successful Silicon Valley career on hold and turned her focus toward launching the family business with local and AI search in mind.
That was not a small move.
She brought the kind of leadership, sales marketing thinking, and customer experience mindset that our business has needed. I brought years of dealer website experience, online mobile home sales knowledge, and a long list of problems dealers currently have.
Together, we started building MH Upside Technology.
We Started With Dealer Pain Points
We did not start by asking, How can we make another website product?
Nobody needs another boring website product.
We started by listing dealer website pain points.
- Old websites that are slow on phones.
- Inventory pages that are hard to search.
- Forms that do not help the sales team.
- Content that does not show up well on Google.
- Pages that look fine on desktop but fall apart in a buyer's hand on the lot.
- Websites that make the dealer look smaller, older, or less trustworthy than they really are.
Most dealers do not need more confusion.
They need a website that helps the sales team, not one that slows them down.
They need a website that makes homes easier to find, makes the dealership easier to trust, and gives buyers a clear next step.
Because your website is often the first salesperson a buyer meets.
That first impression matters.
The Better Way Is MH Upside
MH Upside is a modern dealer website built for manufactured home dealers.
It is designed to give dealers a top-of-the-line website with fast and secure infrastructure, optimized content, mobile-first design, and better search visibility.
That means Google SEO matters.
AI search matters too.
Buyers are changing how they look for homes. Search is changing how it shows answers. Dealer websites need to be ready for both.
MH Upside is built to help dealers create a better first impression, make inventory easier to find, and turn more website visitors into real conversations.
A better website will not replace your sales team.
It should make your sales team stronger.
That is the whole idea.
Living Life on the Upside
We call it living life on the upside.
That means taking old dealer website problems and turning them into digital strengths.
- Slow becomes fast.
- Confusing becomes clear.
- Outdated becomes modern.
- Hard to manage becomes easier to run.
- Missed chances become better conversations.
This is not about chasing every shiny tech trend.
This is about building a better system for dealers who are trying to grow.
Dealers know homes. Dealers know people. Dealers know how to sell when a real buyer is in front of them.
Our job is to help more of those real buyers find you, trust you, and take the next step.
Welcome to the Founder Notes
This blog is where we will share what we are building, what we are learning, and what we believe dealers need to know about websites, SEO, AI search, lead generation, and online sales.
We will keep it simple.
No tech lecture. No corporate fluff. No unlock your digital potential nonsense.
Just useful notes from the field, from a family business that has spent a long time learning what works and what does not.
So welcome to MH Upside.
Welcome to the Founder Notes.

Founder Note
This first post means a lot to us.
MH Upside is not something we threw together overnight. It came from years of working with websites, sales teams, dealer pain points, family schedules, and the belief that small businesses can still build big things.
Sarah and I are thankful for the road that got us here.
Now it is time to build what comes next.
