A website lead is not a win.
Not yet.
It becomes valuable when someone follows up, understands what the buyer wants, moves the conversation forward, and keeps the next step clear.
That sounds obvious, but a lot of dealer websites still treat lead capture like the finish line.
A buyer fills out a form.
An email gets sent.
Maybe someone sees it.
Maybe someone calls.
Maybe the buyer gets worked.
Maybe not.
That is a dangerous way to handle real opportunities.
Manufactured home buyers often have questions about land, financing, delivery, timing, trade-ins, monthly payment, down payment, family size, location, and what kind of home actually fits their situation.
A generic contact form does not capture enough.
A messy inbox does not create accountability.
A sticky note does not show the owner what happened.
A better system should help the sales team know who came in, what they wanted, what home they viewed, where they are in the process, and what needs to happen next.
That does not mean the CRM has to be complicated.
Most dealers do not need complicated.
They need clear.
Who is new, who has been contacted, who has an appointment, and who needs another follow-up.
Simple visibility can make a big difference.
Good leads should not disappear into an inbox.
They should move.
